Lyrics

Singer:
Title:

English Translation

From industrialized generation to democratized generation
I hope they don’t waste their blood and sweat
Where are we going now
What time are you standing and living
Younger husband and female children alone
A mother who grew up and lived every day
Stepping on the plane without knowing the destination
What did she think
It was bigger than the fear that I could not see
Maybe it was the future fear of reality
For the child, for the country, for the future
Thanks to the people who became the nightingale of the country
Korea could go one step further
I will never forget your noble sacrifice
What I wanted to say to you
Thank you very much
Faraway
Farther away from farther land
In a 2,000-meter underground tunnel
Our father who cared for blood and sweat
Their morning greetings
‘Glick Auf’
Translated into Korean
‘Live and come back’
It is a promise for a nostalgic hometown
It must have been a pledge to yourself.
I dreamed of hope in the dark reality
Thanks to our father
Korea could go one step further
I will never forget your noble sacrifice
What I wanted to say to you
Thank you very much
From industrialized generation to democratized generation
I hope they don’t waste their blood and sweat
Where are we going now
What time are you standing and living
3.15 4.19 5.16 10.26
12.12 5.18 until 6.29
Difficult days in numbers
But there are countless times to be numbered
1960.2.28 Daegu students cry
Million degrees, there is blood.
Do not hesitate for our sacred rights
Stand up, the students’ red blood
I’m still playing at this moment
To crush injustice against justice
Struggle until the end of this life
Our spirit and righteousness
It is the appeal of the opposite sex.
5.16 Military affairs that marked the Dark Ages
10.26 night I thought it would be a period
One shot but
12.12 Frozen the night again and cold
I meet in the dark
1980.5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement
The state aims a muzzle at the people
Many innocent victims
Until the fog clears, they
I had a day like night
January 14, 1987
June 9, 1987
Tragedy engraved with the history of history
Thanks to you who have found hope for our descendants
Korea could go one step further
I will never forget your noble sacrifice
What I wanted to say to you
Thank you very much
From industrialized generation to democratized generation
I hope they don’t waste their blood and sweat
Where are we going now
What time are you standing and living
Peace pursued as of 2020
Resolving the conflict between the two
Respect each other’s differences
Remember the past and make it your teacher
Our world and sovereignty are in a day
Engrave deeply that it was not born
