소리가 들릴 정도로 고요함이 스쳐 지나갔지.
“그런데 말이다, 항상 어떤 일이든
그 반대편이 있기 마련이란다.
사람들이 아무리 조심해도 어떻게든
그 혼을 조금이라도
가져보려는 것들도 있거든.”

주워 먹으면서 살아왔어.

그러다가 우연히 손톱을 주워 먹고는
한 번에 아주 많은 혼을
비축하는 법을 알게 된 거야.”
